Sunrise Bootcamp on Thursday morning was at Simms Park and I shot a bit of video cause it was just so darn beautiful out!

Feeling the burn just watching it!!! Just wondering, how is running up hill backwards good for you? What muscles are being worked the most?
Hey! Thanks for the comments gals! There are a few great benefits of backwards hill running:
1. Balance and proprioception
2. Concentric quad strength- pushing off. It takes a lot of quad strength to push against gravity hard enough to create a stride (hard work to go anywhere).
3. Arm drive- really comes into play as you drive your elbows backwards to help propel yourself up.
Try it and you will see what I mean!
