MOMAR Squamish: Saturday May 12th
This is the start of the race with well over 200 racers at Alice Lake Prov Park-north of Squamish. I was somewhere on the right in the middle of losing my racer passport...Well, it's really a long story...but luckily it was turned in before the race started and I was merely subjected to public ridicule on the loudspeaker by Bryan Tasaka-race director and my personal tormentor...
Serious outfits for serious superheroes! These gals/guys/wonderwomen provided endless belly aching laughs for us all on the race course...if they can pull off 45km in thigh high boots and capes then anyone can. Tie that hair back for god's sake!
